Read your book last weekend and loved it! I had not even heard the term 'wari' before this! It had a lot of interesting information and very useful details about every aspect of this spiritual journey - pre planning as well as what to expect during the wari. Your excitement, anxieties, likes and dislikes came through very clearly. Pics were good too and helped enhance the narration.
If I were to consider undertaking such a journey, your book would be an invaluable guide!
Thanks for partaking in this wari and writing about it!

Pilgrimage to Pandharpur fills one with joy
ByUrmila September 2, 2017
"Pilgrimage to Pandharpur fills one with joy..." Says a famous Warkari Poet Saint Sena Maharaj in his composition "Jata Pandharisi Sukh Wate Jeeva..."
If you have always marvelled at the simple people (Warkaris), who walk on foot to Pandharpur, with God’s name on their lips and lifelong devotion for the Lord in their eyes, here is a book that will feel like a friend to you.
The author, who has an IIT degree and has dwelt primarily in urban settings, whether in homeland or foreign lands, has ventured out of urban comforts to take this journey himself.
He has brought the “Wari experience” to the reader, with picturesque words and pictures worth a thousand words. The straightforwardness (Aarjavam) of the narrative is captivating and is the mark of a truly God-loving heart.
As a result of reading this book, you might be tempted to mark your calendar and prepare for your own Wari.
