Travelogue about a walking pilgrimage to Pandharpur, Pandharpur Payi Wari. The experience is shared here. I used to wonder how one could walk all the way up to Pandharpur, a distance of 230 kms. I was able to walk with the wari and reach the Lord's temple walking all the way from my Pune home. Before undertaking the journey, we searched in book stores/net for guidance with no success. That has made me think that I should write this experience and post it on a tavel blog. So, here it is!

Dear Mr. Phadnis,
ReplyDeleteI am a teacher from Portland, Oregon, USA. I also produce a podcast focused on the subject of pilgrimage. I mostly discuss western pilgrimages, but I'm working on an episode on pilgrimage in India, and so I found your book on Pandharpur very interesting! I wonder if you would be interested in speaking with me for the podcast. I think many more people would be curious to learn more about your walk to Pandharpur.
Thank you for considering it. I hope you and your family are healthy and well. My email address is my full name (see below) @ gmail.com.
Regards,
Dave
